Bruce Vorsanger, Chairman
Over the years, Bruce has served on the boards of LCPS Management, Inc., Vicar’s Landing and Glenmoor and joined the Vicar’s Board again as Chair, and LCPS Management Board, as Secretary, in 2013. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas. He began his employment with Hallmark Cards in 1978 and is currently the Sales Manager for the Southeast District. Bruce has two sons, Michael, a graduate of Florida State University and Todd, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, and lives in Ponte Vedra with his wife, Ginny. Community involvement includes: member of Christ Episcopal Church, Past President and current member of Ponte Vedra Rotary, Board of Directors for DANIEL Memorial Foundation and Gator Bowl Committee.
George Fetherston, Vice Chairman
George originally joined the Vicar’s Board in 2002 and retired from the board after serving three terms. He has joined the LCPS Management Board and serves as Chairman of the Glenmoor Board. George received a B.A. in Hotel Restaurant Management from Michigan State and is retired General Manager of Sawgrass Country Club. His professional and civic activities have included the Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary, Florida Hotel & Motel Assn., Jacksonville Hotel & Motel Assn, St. Johns County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Member of Club Managers Assn. of America, and the Northeast Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross. He and his wife Jackie live in the Ponte Vedra area.
Mark grew up in the northwestern part of New Jersey and graduated from University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has been with the firm of Edwards and Kelcey (Jacobs purchased Edwards and Kelcey in 2007) since 1986, starting as a summer intern and became one of 70 owners/partners holding the title Florida in 2001 to grow the company business in Florida and the Southeast region. In 2009 he became the Southeast Manager of Operations for the Jacobs Engineering Group – Telecommunications Divisions. He enjoys watching sports (New York Yankees and Jaguars fan) and most of all spending time with his family – wife Teresa and daughters Emily and Chelsea and resides in Ponte Vedra Beach. Mark serves on the Vicar’s Landing Board and Chairs the Operations Committee.
Rod retired from JP Morgan Chase in 2008 after a successful 35 year career in banking. He served in the US NAVY Reserve and graduated from the University of South Carolina, BS Economics. Rod currently is Chairman of Federal Property Registration Co./Vacantregistry.com and serves on the Board of Directors of GOODWILL Industries of NE Florida. Rodney and his wife, Pat, live in Pone Vedra and have 3 married daughters and 6 grandchildren. He serves on the Glenmoor Board on their Finance/Marketing Committee.
Mike’s family moved to Ponte Vedra in 1993. Mike and Susie have been married for 34 years and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren all living in the area. Mike worked for Centric/Keefe Group (Taylor Family, Enterprise Rent A Car) for 30 years providing products for the Correctional Industry. He was Group Vice President for the Southern region. He retired in 2010 and is currently a consultant for Cloverhill Bakery, Chicago, Illinois. He has an extensive background in Sales and Marketing. Mike is currently in his fifth year on the Vicars Landing Board, serving as Chair of the Marketing Committee.
Bill has a BS in economics from Lafayette College and with Price Waterhouse Coopers where he earned his CPA certificate. After successfully starting and growing his own CPA firm, Murdock & Company, he joined one of his clients, American Infrastructure, Inc., a large construction company as its first CFO. Bill is now retired. In addition to serving on the board of Glenmoor, he serves on the finance committees of Christ Episcopal Church and the Sawgrass Association and the Legal and Bylaws committee of Sawgrass Country Club.
Gerry was a member of the original Glenmoor Board of Directors, serving three terms. He is a past President of that Board and is now on the LCPS Management Board as an independent director. He is former Chairman of Byron Harless, Reynolds, et al, and is currently President, Gerald E. Reynolds, PhD, PA. His PhD in Clinical Psychology is from the University of Florida. He is a past President of the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club. He has served on other volunteer and business boards of directors. He and his wife, Margaret, have been beaches residents since 1976.
John graduated from College of William and Mary with a BBA and was Managing Partner of Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP for 33 years, before retiring. He is active in community organizations, including Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Board of Directors of Sontag Corporation, and Treasurer of Christ Episcopal Church. Both John and his wife, Sara, are Eucharistic Ministers for Christ Episcopal Church. John joined the LCPV Board in 2011 and is Chair of the Finance Committee. He and Sara, live in Ponte Vedra and have two sons, one a third year law student and the other a junior at University of South Carolina.
